Red Flags and Your Habits

Folks in, Hey, you going there? This is Chris. And today we’re talking about still preparing you for 30 day challenge.


And I’d like to go through a thing called red flags. We know from the past video I sent you at debt, it’s often hard to realize that we’ve developed a habit since childhood of repairing anything that doesn’t make us happy with a certain tendency of behavior.


First example, some people when they’re not happy, they’ll eat a lot. Some people complain a lot. Some people get angry, some people look for other options.


Some people go spiritual and do meditation, but whichever way it goes, when we’re suffering and struggling, we look for a solution.


And quite often, we get locked into the solutions we found as a kid that our parents recognize. For example, maybe a, when we were a little kid and we weren’t getting what we want.


We like this baby in the screen here, cried out the lies out and parents said, oh God, you poor little thing here.


And so we’ve learned as an adult to feel sorry for ourselves and cry little lies, or sometimes we got angry or sometimes we, we developed habits.
And what we recognize is we all are really happy, deep inside, but things happen to, to chew away at our happiness.


And we have to be really mindful about that because as a leader, which is what you are as a leader, when we’re not happy, people don’t follow.
And so our S our, our ability to stay happy and to make sure we don’t get a caterpillar chewing away at our happiness is really important.


We talked about leadership and learning to be in the top three levels of the consciousness cone. And we’re going to talk about in the 30 day challenge, how to stay up there and maintain that position.


And we talked about how not to be in the bottom three areas of the consciousness current and the bottom four.


In fact, because those areas, breed distrust and bead confusion and breed insecurity, and breed, depression, and breed all the things that we can’t afford as a leader to be taking into the workplace and taking into our home life as a consequence of work.


So we talked about the seven levels of humor of thinking those seven levels of human being. And we covered that in the last video, we talked about the seven levels in terms of the top in the mountain being where we want the culture of any business to operate.


And we can create that by coach them up, or coach them out philosophy. So the seven areas of life, and we’ve actually worked out that there are seven zones, if you want to call it that of life.


And that happiness depends on not being balanced by for example, mentally stressed, being balanced by a sport or being spiritually stressed in and not knowing where we’re going and balancing it by having a lot of money.


We talked about a balanced person being balanced in each of the seven areas of life. And I think this is a really important aspect of not being drawn down into the seven below us, the lower four areas of the consciousness cone.


We worked it out in the last video that there, the secret to good leadership number one is self-leadership how can you give what you haven’t got?


And that’s a such an important start. And that’s what your 30 day challenge is all about self leadership. The second part is to inspire the individual coast, coach them up or out.


And we just talked about that because if you’ve got people in your group who are down in the bottom three areas of the consciousness current, they require intense, overseeing, intense time investment, intense management.


And that is going to be really difficult for you because you can’t lead. If you’re always managing people or trying to nurse them through their own problems.


So coaching people up into the top three becomes critical. Hope you like the sound of the dog backing in the background.


The third area is balanced the company vision. We were going to talk about that at great length, because you’re going to create your own vision.


You’re going to work out that a vision that is singular or focuses on just one particular aspect needs to be underpinned by satisfaction in all the other areas.


And that’s a critical thing, because we might say, I want a vision in, in some certain aspect of my life, but if it’s at the cost of all the others, we’re going to have severe and uncompetitive and really disastrous disappointment because if we get to the end and we have lost everything in the process of getting to the end, that is not what we thought we’d do.


And last but not least link the two link the individual’s inspiration to the company or team vision. So we have two objectives, one to deal with the lower levels of thinking, make sure that we don’t get whenever we get caught up in some stress or some things that are are tough and life brings us challenge to make sure we don’t get caught up in it, and to be able to process it and to be able to get out of it as quickly as possible.


That means all aspects of frustration and disappointment are opportunities to grow. And we take that as being a positive opportunity in our lives.
And so we don’t get stuck in the bottom and dwell in it, and we don’t go ruminating on things in the bottom three areas of life.


What we do is we use process to escape that and grow from it. The second part is maintenance of the top three levels and enjoying that as well.


And we’re going to cover that in the second half of the 30 day challenge. So we want to be that unique individual that stays happy no matter what that stays enthusiastic matter what that stays inspired no matter what that works through, whatever it is of an emotional or mental or physical crisis, and gets to the other side of it and stays happy in the process.


It, we don’t have dwell for months and months and months in a state of depression. If we’re depressed, we need to work on that pretty quick before it becomes chemically bound in our body, nature grows in cycles.
And it’s really important to recognize this, that if we don’t grow with nature, we do what this beautiful kiwifruit has done, or it looks like a little bit like a testicle, but it actually is a Kiwi fruit.


And if we don’t grow, we explode. And this is this last picture on the screen is really called stress and breakdown and emotion and all sorts of catastrophe.


We call it calamity disaster and humbling circumstance. And we can avoid that if we use the lower three levels as a trigger and opportunity to grow, but many people don’t grow.


And so this actually is a picture of a monkey in a ceremony that I was at in Himalayas, a very traditional old ceremony, and right up in the high in the sh in the Himalayas.


But that’s, that’s another topic, but I’ve used this picture to say, if, if people don’t grow in the cycles of nature, they explode and catch fire.


So many people only learn from experience like this kid. And if you try that in later life, you might not.


You might have wished you had have learned from experience as a child. So we talk about red flags, and that’s the point of this video.


What I need you to do today is to think about for yourself, what are your red flags? Now I’ve put up here an example.


There are seven areas of life. Each has a red flag. For example, if you’re spiritually stressed, it means you don’t know where you’re going.


If you’re mentally stressed, you’re worried about stuff. If you’re socially stressed, it means you’ve got shame and embarrassment about being you.


And you’re looking for other people’s approval. If you’re career stressed, it means you’ve lost motivation, lost ambition. If you’re health stressed, your energy goes away.


You get constipated and multitude of other things that take place in your body. So your body is nature’s Bible. It’s always telling you, please don’t be stressed.


But sometimes we use mechanisms like Panadols and all sorts of things and meditations, and all sorts of things to try and get unstressed, rather than to say, what’s causing the stress and deal with the cause.


Relationship red flags. When there’s stress in a relationship, we need to operate on that before it gets out of control and starts and bushfire and financial red flags.


If you look down the bottom of the page here, we’ve got, got two mental red flags is usually when you hear yourself saying, I should have known that, or I should do this social red flags are things like saying they should like me, or I should be liked, or I shouldn’t do this.


And I shouldn’t do that. Career. Red flags is when you hear yourself saying, I’ve got to do this, and I’ve got to get that done, and I’ve got to do this.
And I’ve got to get that done. That is a really big red flag in your career because that’s going to lead to anxiety and stress.


And it’s going to lead to a self-deprecating state of operating the lower three levels of the cone. And nobody follows a person who’s living in the bottom three areas of the cone health got to, I’ve got to exercise, I’ve got to eat well, I’ve got to not well.


And, and these things are actually states of mind that make you unhealthy by doing healthy things, relationship red flags, and most often for most people at a level of normal operation.


When you hear yourself is saying, these are my needs, this is what I need to do. This is what I don’t need to do.


But again, relationship red flags can also drop into, you’ve got to do this, and I’ve got to do that. Or you should have done this, and I should have done that.


And financial red flags. Well, if you can take the whole stress industry and point to one primary or two primary drivers of the whole stress industry, one is financial and the other is relationship.


And I think to do a 30 day challenge without including the concepts of healthy relationship and red flags in relationship and financial management and healthy financial management, I think would be completely not holistic.


And as you know, we are working here on total human awareness. So we see here, stress, stress, stress, stress, stress, stress, stress, stress of whatever form you’d like to allocate it in your life.


Remembering everybody experiences, stress different. Some people get insomnia. As I’ve written down here, some people get anxiety. Some people drink more.


Some people lose trust. Some people get constipated. Some people get unmotivated. They’re not driven anymore. Some people get shame. Some people get tremors and shakes and, and other people feel incredibly vulnerable.


And, and having anxiety you need to this middle ground of this chart that I’ve presented here, you could create your own, what are my red flags?
And I think that’s really important to bring to the table in your first major coaching session in your 30 day challenge.


So we can discuss them and make sure that we use some mechanism for early intervention. Stress is not a bad thing.


Early intervention is possible. We, when we early intervene in a stress we deal with cause not effect. And if we deal with cause not effect, we stop the stress spreading and becoming a contamination across all seven areas of your life.
