The research is categoric in its emphasis that the person who connect to nature operates a far better level than somebody who doesn’t. We know this because if you incarcerate person you would withdraw them from nature and they suffer far more than if you created the prison in a nature based natural surrounding. Concrete walls and Barbwire fences remind and individual that they are separate and separated from the beauty of nature. But nature is not just limited to trees animals and chirping birds. We are nature. Human nature is very important to our survival but also to our success. It is human nature to want to form relationships with other people in all different levels. This video explores the topic.
I acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, and in particular the Bidjigal Gadigal people of the Eora nation, as the first and traditional custodians of the land on which I live and work and its buildings now stand; and I acknowledge my gratitude that we share this land today, our sorrow for the costs of that sharing, and our hope that we can move towards a place of justice and partnership together.
