Is somebody distracting your focus? What to Do…

You can please others and piss yourself off, or please yourself and piss others off, but you’ll become totally messed up trying to do both.

When you infatuated with others and put them on pedestals you tend to minimise yourself and desire to change yourself relative to them. You tend to inject their values into your life and attempt to live according to their values. Your, now unconscious, but true values, become momentarily overridden by your assumed conscious, but now false values. You hear within you imperatives like”I got to,” or “I have to” or ” I should” or “I ought to” or “I’m supposed to.” “I need to.” This attempt to change yourself relative to them leaves you futilely ungrateful for yourself. Attempting to be someone you are not is ultimately futile. Your true hierarchy of values dictates what your observations are, what your decisions are, and what your actions are and therefore your destiny – not someone else’s.

Envy is ignorance Imitation is suicide – Ralf Waldo Emerson.

When you resent others and put them in pits you tend to exaggerate yourself and desire to change them relative to you. You tend to inject your values into their life and attempt to have them I’ve according to your values. You hear within you imperatives like “You got to,” or “You have to” or “You  should” or “You ought to” or “You’re supposed to.” “You need to.” This attempt to change them relative to you leaves you futilely ungrateful for them. Attempting to make someone they are not is ultimately futile. Their true hierarchy of values dictates their destiny – not yours.

When you want to change yourself relative to others or when you want to change others relative to you, you are not recognising the hidden order and you are ungrateful for what is, as it is. Your human will is attempting to change divine will or “what is.”

When human will attunes to nature’s will there is freedom

Nature cannot be commanded except by being obeyed. Let us learn the laws of nature and we shall be her masters.

Rumi — ‘Yesterday I was clever, so I wanted to change the world. Today I am wise, so I am changing myself.’

As I am so I see – Ralph Waldo Emerson

You say you don’t like to be lied to by your friends, or in your business dealings. So why would you want to be lied to when it comes to the origin of life or the fate of the universe or world? You don’t want to be duped because you want to get to the truth. You are a truth seeking missile, an organism that searches for truth. But there are other parts of your (lower) mind that militate against the truth, that want to be walled off from actuality. Such as the part of your mind that concerns itself with how you look to yourself and to others, the self deceptiveness that makes you want to project the most positive image or not – your self serving bias. You, like most people, believe that you are above average in any positive self trait or if not yourself then certainly the group that you belong to.

You only want to make a difference in that which you do not love i.e in that which you infatuate with (desire to change self) or resent (desire to change other). What you condemn you breed. What you infatuate with you undermine.

Most people just get by. They love within their so-called comfort zones. They attempt to just fulfill their immediate needs and wants. They eventually end up living or depending upon social security. They experience frustration and function from a level of quiet desperation. They do not love what they do, nor do what they love: nor do they let their inspirations run their loves. Because most people oscillate between injecting the values of perceived authorities in to their lives and then projecting their values onto perceived sub-ordinates – they end up envying, imitating and living their lives with other people’s “should’s.”

Any area of your life you don’t empower someone else will overpower. They hierarchy of your values determines where you will be in power and overpowered. Order and power occurs with your higher values and chaos and powerlessness occurs with your lower values. there are no victims. You innately have an evolutionary will to power that is limitless. When individuals have disemoowermnet in the following fiver areas (mental, vocational, financial, social and physical)n and they have partial empowerment in the following two areas: Spiritual and family – then they are highly vulnerable to and attract counterbalancing domestic violence. When nations or cultures have disempowerment in the following five areas (mental, vocational, financial, social and physical) and have partial empowerment in the following two areas (spiritual and family) then they are highly vulnerable to and attract counterbalancing domestic dictator violence.

Seek truth, it’s the only thing that will satisfy, even if it hurts

  • STEP 1. Take the power back by not reacting
  • STEP 2. Walk away and don’t try to fix things
  • STEP 3. Look for solutions like “AND” rather than “OR”
  • STEP 4. Pick your fights… some things are just not worth fighting over
  • STEP 5. Know your priorities. Only wrestle with your highest value
